Director

Location: The Ivy League Child Development Center – Dallas, Texas

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Director to lead our center with vision, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. The Director will oversee all aspects of the center’s operations, including curriculum development, staff management, parent relations, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of early childhood education and a dedication to creating a safe, enriching, and supportive environment for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide visionary leadership to ensure the center’s mission, values, and goals are upheld.

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate a team of educators and support staff.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.

Curriculum and Program Development:

  • Oversee the implementation of a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with state and national early childhood education standards.

  • Ensure programs promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.

  • Regularly assess and enhance educational programs to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Parent and Community Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with families through open communication, parent meetings, and family engagement events.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback.

  • Represent the center in the community and establish partnerships with local organizations.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure the center complies with all state licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and accreditation standards.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of early childhood education laws and best practices.

  • Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.

Financial and Administrative Oversight:

  • Manage the center’s budget, including tuition, payroll, and operational expenses.

  • Oversee enrollment, billing, and record-keeping processes.

  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement to ensure the center’s long-term success.

Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

✅ Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role.

✅ Strong knowledge of child development theories, practices, and regulatory standards.

✅ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

✅ Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, build relationships with families, and manage multiple priorities.

✅ CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

✅ Familiarity with Texas state licensing requirements for child care centers.

After School Teacher and Lead Infant Teachers

Job Summary: The Early Learning Professional is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning in preschool-aged children. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in accordance with state standards.

- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity among children.

- Individualized Support: Assess the individual needs of children and provide personalized support to ensure each child’s growth and development.

- Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with families through regular communication, meetings, and workshops to support their child’s learning journey.

- Observation and Assessment: Conduct regular observations and assessments to track children’s progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.

- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children, adhering to all licensing and regulatory requirements.

- Professional Development: Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in early childhood education, participating in ongoing training and development. 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.

- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with young children.

- Ability to create a positive learning environment and engage children in meaningful activities. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Infant Teacher

Location: The Ivy League Child Development Center, 7111 Marvin D. Love Fwy #210, Dallas, TX 75237

Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

Job Summary: The Infant Teacher provides a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. This position plays a key role in supporting each child’s growth and early learning journey while ensuring safety, care, and consistency in alignment with The Ivy League’s high-quality educational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement lesson plans that support sensory, motor, language, and social-emotional development.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of infants at all times through attentive supervision and adherence to health and safety protocols.

- Build responsive, caring relationships with infants to foster a secure attachment and a positive early learning experience.

- Maintain open, ongoing communication with families to share developmental milestones, routines, and progress.

- Keep accurate records of feedings, diaper changes, naps, and developmental observations.

- Create a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with KY All STARS standards.

- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to plan and reflect on curriculum and classroom practices.

- Participate in professional development and continuous learning activities.

Qualifications:

✅ CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent coursework preferred.

✅ Minimum age of 18 years.

✅ At least 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.

✅ Knowledge of infant development and safe sleep practices.

✅ CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

✅ Ability to lift and carry infants and perform physical tasks as needed.

Toddler Teacher

Location: The Ivy League Child Development Center, 7111 Marvin D. Love Fwy #210, Dallas, TX 75237

Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

Job Summary: The Toddler Teacher creates a supportive and stimulating environment for children aged 12 months to 36 months, promoting exploration, independence, and foundational learning. This role ensures that toddlers receive individualized attention and guidance, fostering their cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development in a safe and loving space.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily routines that encourage curiosity and active learning.

- Promote language development, gross and fine motor skills, and social interaction through play-based learning.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that encourages autonomy and exploration.

- Support positive behavior management strategies and model respectful communication.

- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and maintain ongoing communication with families.

- Conduct regular observations and assessments to track developmental progress.

- Maintain accurate documentation of meals, naps, toileting, and learning activities.

- Collaborate with the classroom team and center leadership to support program goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

✅ CDA credential or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

✅ Minimum age of 18 years.

✅ At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed early childhood program.

✅ Understanding of toddler development and appropriate guidance strategies.

✅ CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

✅ Ability to lift, bend, and interact at the child’s level for extended periods.

✅ Patience, enthusiasm, and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
